Pet Peace of Mind’s mission is to enrich the quality of life and well-being of hospice and home health care patients by providing a national support network to help care for their companion pets. The program, delivered through local hospices and home health organizations, provides hands-on pet care services and assistance with pet adoption so patients can pass in peace knowing their pets will join a new family who will love and care for them.

This presentation will help you learn about Pet Peace of Mind’s turnkey solution to help patients with their pet care needs and the importance of the role veterinarians play in building a successful program within the community. You will also be exposed to some of the literature and data on the importance of pets in healthcare situations and how best to serve the vulnerable pet owners within your community.
