Colloid Fluid Therapy: Revisited

Registered Webinar Members get exclusive invites — No need to register again!

About the webinar

Synthetic colloid fluid use has always been controversial – from the early studies, based on theoretical benefits, to watershed moments that discounted huge amounts of published literature, and the finding that they increase risk of acute kidney injury.
In this lecture, we’ll bring you up to date with what we now know about the use, effectiveness and safety of synthetic colloids in fluid therapy plans. Are they safe to use? When should I avoid them? Should they be used at all?

Join Dr Philip Judge as we update the controversy surrounding colloids, by exploring the current literature and clinical evidence!
