Technicians can do so many advanced procedures. Peripheral intravenous catheters are not the only way to give fluids. This lecture identifies other routes of fluid administration including intraosseous, peripheral intravenous central catheters, jugular catheters, nasogastric/nasoesophageal tubes, and other veins to place intravenous catheters. We will learn about how to place urinary catheters. I will also go over how to care for tracheostomy tubes, chest tubes, ventilator care, and other miscellaneous advanced procedure care.
