Summary
To improve the health and quality of life of dogs with cancer, nutritional management remains one of the treatment and care options available to owners to slow disease progression, mitigate adverse physical and metabolic reactions to tumor growth and maintain a better quality of life. Owners of dogs with cancer need support in the choice of food and possibly supplements to give to their sick companion.
