Vet Education held its first online conference in 2011, which makes VNCON the longest running online conference for veterinary nurses and technicians. VNCON has run every year since, and the community that has grown around it is a large part of why nurses and technicians come back.

VNCON 2026 takes place online on 6, 7 and 8 October 2026, with two lectures each day at 12:00 and 19:30 AEDT. The 12:00 AEDT lecture is 09:00 in Perth, 14:00 in New Zealand, 02:00 in the United Kingdom, 21:00 the previous evening on the US east coast and 18:00 the previous evening on the US west coast. The 19:30 AEDT lecture is 16:30 in Perth, 21:30 in New Zealand, 09:30 in the United Kingdom, 04:30 on the US east coast and 01:30 on the US west coast.

Registration for VNCON 2026 is free and takes a couple of minutes. Complete the registration form on this page using your own name and email address. Joining instructions and lecture links are then sent to that email address in the days before the conference.

Do I have to attend every VNCON lecture live?

No, you can join whichever VNCON 2026 lectures fit around your roster and other commitments. All six lectures are recorded, so nothing is missed if you cannot make a session live. Many attendees join two or three live and catch the rest afterwards.

No, Vet Education members do not need to register separately for VNCON 2026. If you hold an individual membership, or have access through your practice, invitations to every VNCON lecture arrive automatically. You can also join each lecture directly from your Vet Education Library, and your hours are then recorded in your Library dashboard.

Does every member of our veterinary team need to register for VNCON 2026?

Yes, each team member should complete their own free VNCON 2026 registration if they are not already a Vet Education member. Individual registration means everyone receives their own lecture invitations, recording links and CPD or CE certificate. Vet Education members are covered automatically and do not need to register again.
